My Field Trip to Gettysburg

On Friday, Mom and I went to Gettysburg.  When we were on the road we went straight.  We ate at McDonald's.  When we went farther we saw a sign that said "Gettysburg This Way".  When we got to Gettysburg we went to the Visitor's Center.  We went to the Museum.  We saw a DVD.

We saw a cannon.

  

I went on Little Round Top.

The American Flag, Part 2

If you live near Fabio's in Grantville, you might see this flag.  If you look at the left planter at the top of the stairs, you will see this flag.  I like taking photos of American flags because it is the flag of the United States of America.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,

and to the republic for which it stands,

one nation, under God, indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

Have a nice day at Fabio's if you decide to eat there.  I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese and the free bread!

The American Flag

The American flag is our country's flag.  I took this photo at the cemetery near our house.  Our flag has thirteen stripes because when our country was founded it had thirteen colonies.  Now it has 50 states and that's how many stars are on the flag.
